爵士钢琴家、作曲家、伯克利音乐学院钢琴系副教授、《Jazz Piano Comping》一书作者、苏珊娜戴维斯四重奏创办者及领队。

Associate Professor Piano
Jazz pianist and composer Suzanne Davis appeared every weekend with her jazz trio at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston from 1985 to 2004.
She now performs frequently in Boston, Cape Cod, New York City and Paris, France as a solo artist and leader of her own small group (trio and quartet). An alumna of Wellesley College, she is Associate Professor of Piano at Berklee College of Music.
She has been called ‘an outstanding talent” by the Boston Globe. Her original composition Transition Waltz was featured in a short animated film and received Print magazine’s 1999 Digital 6 Award.
Ms. Davis has composed music for several films, including a credit as a composer for the film In Between directed by filmmaker and actress Deborah Twiss.
Ms. Davis is the author of Jazz Piano Comping, which will be published by Berklee Press in 2011.
Recordings include The Suzanne Davis Quartet: First Set, Hymn to Freedom, and A Hight Tolerance for the Truth.
